In order to celebrate the successful completion of a good vintage, the last load of grapes is always transported to the village square of Girlan with a lovingly decorated old carriage and pressed in an ancient wine press.

In addition to the tasting of grape juice, the Girlan wineries and winegrowers offer a tasting of their precious quality products at the church square. Traditionally, freshly roasted chestnuts are offered.
