Andrian / Andriano
Andrian is situated in the orchards of Etschtal on the South Tyrolean Wine Road and is one of the smallest municipalities in South Tyrol. A mild climate, a touch of Mediterranean flair, a long-standing culture and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality can all be found in this picturesque holiday resort. In Andrian you will simply feel at home, and among friends!
Discover the glorious fruit- and wine-producing countryside on foot or by bicycle. Go for a hike through cool woodlands. Play tennis, sun yourself, or bathe in our idillic swimming pool. Andiran offers complete and utter relaxation for body, mind and soul.
Hunting for chestnuts offer a memorable experience beginning with a convivial hike and an ending with the delights of roasting chestnuts. There are also guided natural history walks in the mornings and evenings.
Andrian's winery, founded in 1893, is the oldest wine producers' cooperative in South Tyrol. Wine tasting and guided tours of our cellar offer special insights into the fascinating world of wine.
Each year, the first of May is devoted to bicycling. Young and old alike meet for the traditional open bicycle race through Etschtal's blossoming orchards, and end up at the spring festival. Open air wine tasting (Lorenzi-Nacht) and the Strudelfest on the village square are further highlights of Andrian's village life.
