Two vineyards with one thing in common
On the one hand is the traditional H. Lentsch estate in Branzoll in the Unterland, with its all-round wines that are noted for their high quality and unique value, while on the other is the Klaus Lentsch winery, a premium estate up on the Hemberg in Atzwang, high above the Eisack Valley. Both these vineyards and their range of wines show the influence of wine expert Klaus Lentsch, an obsessive wine enthusiast.
Klaus Lentsch's credo is: "My wines are for people who know that wine is much more than just a drink".
The highest standards are a necessary condition for Klaus Lentsch to ensure that his exacting quality requirements are met. In his view the search for quality begins in the vineyard itself, at the rootstock. The cellaring process and the marketing of the wines are also marked by perfection and a love for detail.
