An important trade centre during the Middle Ages, the arboured alley, the stately manors and imposing backyards from the flourishing heydays of the Alto Adige wine village. Contemporary witnesses, which are responsible for the charming character of this village thanks to careful renovation works.
The popular wine bars and guesthouses in the village alley offer great wines from local wineries. Wine is grown across a total surface of 154 hectares around Egna, whereby 88 hectares are reserved for red, and 66 hectares for white wines.
