Sun and wine: that's Kurtatsch!
From this sun terrace overlooking the Wine Road, the eye sweeps across the southern landscape characterised by vast vineyards and dotted with countless farmsteads and elegant residences, the homes of generations of wine growers.
Numerous paths wind through vineyards and woodlands to the highlands of Penon, Graun and the high plateau of Fennberg, famous already centuries ago as a summer getaway. The highest wine estate in South Tyrol (1050 m) belongs to the cellar of Castel Turmhof at Entiklar. The small chapel of St. Georg at Graun is a real treasure.
