Girlan Winery

Renovated in a functional and from a design aspect demanding way with special rooms for tasting and selling wine.

The architects Stefan Trojer, Manfred Burger and Johann Vonmetz showed great tact during the renovation of the administrative building with a Medieval substance with the greatest care, by reconstructing the old windows for example and by giving added value to the sales room in the historic vault.

A new annex building was added. The new building takes on the lines of the historic façades of the old building and presents itself in a reserved, yet modern architecture to harmonise with the existing building.

The spacious tasting room on the upper floor offers a fantastic view of the Girlano vineyards through the big corner glass fronts. Thanks to the large room height, the light effects are also very impressive.

Extraordinary.Like their wines.

They play with contrasts. They try the new while preserving traditions. Beautiful places and aesthetics for wine lovers.
