Nals-Margreid Winery

The new winery building mirrors the earth and the excellent wines that grow on it.

Natural materials were the first choice of architect Markus Scherer when planning the new building of the winery. Brownly coloured concrete as a modern shell and the rough porphyry walls in the background form a union. The roof plate features green on top and harmonically integrates into the vineyard landscape.

The barrique cellar is located above ground and seems like an over-dimensional wine case. On the inside and outside the building is panelled with oak wood. New are also the cellars for steel tanks, in which grapes are processed as carefully as possible with the help of gravity.

Extraordinary.Like their wines.

They play with contrasts. They try the new while preserving traditions. Beautiful places and aesthetics for wine lovers.
