Winery Eberlehof, Zisser

Located in the centre of the classic S. Maddalena wine growing area near Bolzano, the Eberlehof was first mentioned as a winery in 1312. This traditional farmhouse has been in the possession of the Zisser family since 1668. The emblem shows a winegrower's knife and a plough. Tomas Zisser and his wife Margit work on the vineyard and the wine cellar together with their sons Christian and Lukas. The winegrowing business at Eberlehof is a long family tradition. The vineyards with some old and mixed vines are worked in a natural way with a lot of diligence and love. Only grapes of the best quality and matureness are harvested. Our assortment includes: the S. Maddalena Classico, the Lagrein Riserva, the Merlot Riserva and the Lagrein-Merlot "Mabon". The wines are grown according to old traditions and experience, processed with modern cellar technology and bottled at the right moment.
