St. Michael-Eppan Winery

Show on map

The eventful success story of the St. Michael-Eppan Winery began in 1907, and today the name stands for exceptional wines and unparalleled variety. 320 winegrowing members cultivate 390 hectares of vineyards. The sites in and around Appiano offer ideal conditions for varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir. But also for structured red wines, there are small but excellent vineyards in lower locations and along the wine route. Each vineyard is cultivated in harmony with nature and the climate; the secret of the success lies in combining decades of experience with a constant striving for perfection. The unique terroir, careful handling of the grapes and meticulous processing ensure the production of wines with a distinctive character. The winery places great importance on sustainable viticulture and combining tradition with innovative cellar technology.
