Laimburg Winery
Laimburg Winery is part of the homonymous Laimburg Research Centre and processes grapes from 20 hectares of vineyards situated in all wine-growing zones of Alto Adige, with different soils and locations between 200-750 m above sea level. As a model company in viticulture and cellar management, the priority is to bring the special character of the Alto Adige grape varieties and its terroir into the glass and to combine it with the best tradition of a long wine-growing culture in the Dolomites region. The “Estate Wines” are traditionally vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks, partly in large oak barrels, and stand out as fruit-driven vintage wines typical of the grape variety. The wines of the “Manor Selection” are individual selections and aged mainly in oak barrels, whose names derive from the Ladin legends of the Dolomites.
